The Floating Dead

here was a village near Nile. It was

Ta well developed village. Approx

180 families lived in the village. Most

families were non-farmers. There were

two leaders of that area, Macon and

Dan. Because of a fight between both, the village was divided into two

parts.

Once a lady from the village went to catch fish, she saw 3 dead bodies

floating. She started shouting and all the villagers came running. They

saw it was Dan’s family members’ dead bodies. Dan cried a lot. When

the police came to ask who could have done it, he answered, “It could be

Macon because 4 weeks ago we had a big fight and we divided the whole

village.” The police went to Macon, they asked him if he had killed Dan’s

family. He said, “No”. Police ordered the officers to check his house, but
