The Cruel One

nce upon a time there was a king named
O Shamsher Singh. He ruled the state of
Bhimapur. He was very cruel and selfish. He did
not want to share anything with anyone. He
always treated his family members like servants.
King Shamsher Singh had a wife named Runika. Shamsher behaved the
same way with his wife but she did not say anything. She said, “If you
behave with everybody selfishly, no one will like you. You will be hated
by everyone. People will not help you when you need them the most.”
After listening to his wife, the king was furious. She started crying loudly.
The king tried to console her but she left the palace and never came
back.
As the king was upset he went for a walk in the garden. There he saw a
saint eating something. The king too was feeling hungry. He asked the
